چکیده

The P-factor for support practice of the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) accounts soil conservation measures and leads to a significant reduction in modelled loss. However, practical application, is most neglected factor overall due high effort determining or lack input data. This study provides new method automatic derivation main cultivation direction from seed rows tramlines on agricultural land parcels using Fast Line Detector (FLD) Open Computer Vision (OpenCV) package open remote sensing data Google Earth™. Comparison with mean aspect each parcel allows determination site-specific measure contouring. After calibration FLD parameters, success rate first application low mountain range Fischbach catchment, Germany, was 77.7% 278 parcels. reasons unsuccessful detection were problems headland detection, existing erosion, widely varying albedo within plots as well individual outliers. use corrected mask enhanced parameterization offers promising improvements higher FLD.

Deriving Bathymetry from Multispectral Remote Sensing Data

The use of passive satellite sensor data in shallow waters is complicated by the combined atmospheric, water, and bottom signals. Accurate determination of water depth is important for monitoring underwater topography and detection of moved sediments and in support of navigation. A Worldview 2 (WV2) image was used to develop high-resolution bathymetric maps (four meters) that were validated usi...

Application of remote sensing data in measuring the area of the Zardkuh glaciers

Glaciers influenced by climatic factors and therefore as an important indicator in the study of climate change are studied. Although morphometric analyzes of glaciers based on the analysis of optical satellite data can provide an opportunity to measure ice outcrops, but the identification and determination of the buried glaciers underneath the glacial debris and, consequently, the determination...

Investigation of periodic changes of the Oman Sea coastline using remote sensing data and spatial analysis

Extended abstract   1- Introduction Coastal environments are one of the most sensitive environmental systems under the influence of dominant hydrodynamic processes. Coastal changes and evolution are occurring very fast. Coastal areas are now gradually becoming known as severe natural and man-made disturbances, including sea levels rising, coastal erosion and sedimentation, and over-exploitat...
